Because no TV networks want wrestling, especially not wrestling that isn't WWE. It was hard enough for WWE to get their deal, just look at the trouble TNA is in. Lucha Underground lost UniMas which was a pretty big deal for them, so even their third season is up in the air.
TV isn't kind to wrestling these days, it just doesn't bring in the ad revenue due to the negative connotation of the fanbase. Networks think low income, uneducated people watch wrestling so they only get ads for car insurance and fast food.

I think GFW would also run into a problem when they got a deal. Because their are already three other promotions on TV vying for that #2 spot. I think that if one of these three shows somehow actually got on a channel that every cable carrier and satelite carrier actually has. They would do well for themselves. It has to be done right thought. Their is a hunger for a viable non PG alternative out there.

What happened that led to Matt Striker being let go from the WWE?

They just didn't renew his contract. They seemed to steer away from him on commentary after that performance at the Rumble. "Holy shhhhhhh" and "I'm marking out, bro!" weren't going to fly.

I know we had one of these a while back. So might as well have one now, maybe we do and its buried way back in the forum. Ask a question about anything you want to know about Pro Wrestling. Someone on here may know the answer!
Does anyone know why Global Force Wrestling doesn't have a TV deal yet?
