Impact Spoilers: Accidents & Gifted Titles
Eddie Edwards took quite a wack to the head, when he literally got clobbered with a baseball bat. Was an accident, but dam that would have hurt,
Eddie Edwards is hospitalized following an unfortunate accident at tonight's Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida.
Edwards defeated Sami Callihan in a singles match at the taping and was being attacked by his opponent after the match. Callihan placed a steel chair across Edwards' head and blasted it with a baseball bat, however the bat ricocheted off of the chair and nailed Edwards on the top of his head.
Edwards reportedly returned to the backstage area with a lot of blood flowing from his head, and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. We will update you on his condition as soon as additional information becomes available.
And this happened...
In a newsworthy night from tonight's Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida, the hits keep on coming.
Matt Sydal, who wins the Impact Grand Championship on next week's show on Pop TV, "gifted away" the title this evening to his "spirit guide," longtime Impact Wrestling broadcast team member Josh Mathews.
Sydal proclaimed Mathews the new, official Impact Grand Champion. Check out photos of the segment from tonight's tapings below.
Apparently the title will no longer be active... so doesn't count as Josh Mathews being an actual champion.
