Best moment of your life.
I was thinking about this earlier quite randomly, so thought I'd put it out there and see what other peoples were. Obviously, if you get a new moment after you've written one here you can add a new one 🙂
Mine was getting a job after being jobless for over a year. I hate working, but do it because I had to. I built up a load of debt being jobless to avoid becoming homeless, I worked my ass off trying to get a job. I eventually spoke to a good company who told me what to do with my CV which I thought was very kind, and funnily enough after doing what they said I started getting a lot more interviews. I wish someone had told me that I was going wrong with my CV before as then I probably wouldn't have been jobless for so long. I also had one company after that actually tell me where I was going wrong in interviews, which no one else had done despite asking for feedback - I actually got on with these people really well and they told me that I was slightly negative about my previous job, which I didn't realise I was doing at all but they also wanted to help me. Some companies can be quite nice and help you out even if they're not going to offer you a job. But I eventually got an offer and I was so happy. The weight of everything came off my shoulders. I still have a load of debt from when I was jobless, but it's coming down steadily. So yeah, getting a job offer after so long was the happiest day of my life. Sad really, but who knows where I'd be now if I hadn't had that, and I'm still with them now and have job security for the first time in my career.

Main Event · 798 commentsOctober 2005. I won the 4CW Universal championship in a Triple Threat Match on Storm Front. This came after I had left 4CW once my real life friend got out of it. I got the itch and came back, but only to find he went on a tirade against the fed and even logged in as me to make it seem like he had support. They put me on probation bc they didn’t trust me. I must have done something right bc they put the title on me!
But seriously, when I closed on my house with my fiancé. I’d come a long long way. My previous girlfriend of 4 years was incredible physically abusive. Didn’t happen until we got an apartment together so I was stuck. I was massively out of shape. Got a job walking outside all the time, lost 50 pounds, broke my lease and had the money to cover it bc of the new job, left her and never once regretted it. My fiancé now is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Getting married this October 5th. Nearly 14 years to the date, after Mad Dog won the Universal title!

That's awesome. Must have been hard to get out, but well done man! Especially since it seems to have worked out for the best. Now I expect you to update this when you actually get married lol.

The Moon Maiden · 654 commentsI'm not sure I have a specific best moment. I feel more like I've had a bunch of moments that collectively are part of a larger framework of positive/rewarding/invaluable experiences.
Some things that come to mind:
- In retrospect: the first time I presented Paige to (a very small corner of) the world. April 13th, 2015.
- Getting my legal name changed.
- Receiving my updated driver's license.
- Receiving my updated birth certificate.
- Marching in my first LGBT Pride Parade.
- A collective within a collection: celebrating the four transiversaries I've had since the aforementioned coming out day.
I'm sure there are more, but that's all I could think of for now!
