Could be that they're making cuts to pay for the new X-Division title belt.

Smoke and mirrors to divert attention away from the fact that going on the road is killing them.

You mean the old wwe ic belt they just threw a X over the top of?
I always hated that they would have PPVs in the Impact Zone. I think they should have always been on the road for PPVs atleast.

The latest TNA release has been announced, and it is Jesse Sorensen.. I guess it doesn't matter what you have sacrificed, if they wanna save $$$ they will cut your ass

Semi-related, the ask Dixie via twitter thing was pretty funny thanks to this whole situation
was this the 1st ask dixie? brutal.
I remember wwe had a live interactive studio show on saturday mornings during the rise of wcw. people started to call in and ask if they were afraid of the nwo. They quickly changed the format.
I don't think it's the first ever. It was the one trending yesterday. Just go on twitter and read through #askdixie, this was a large scale trolling effort with lulz a plenty

good shit. lost it @"does the roster get paid in dave and buster points?"
had to look up who Claire Lynch was, too

"How do u feel about a nipple being more over than the whole TNA roster?"
LMAO
what is the issue with ROH & TNA merging? it would be difficult, but ONE OF THEM would survive.

ROH will survive anyway, because they understand they have a niche market and don't overreach
I hope for ROH's sake they don't merge with TNA. It would kill them. TNA just have an amazing ability to lose money.

TNA is not losing money though. Honestly they are not. They are not hugely successful by any means, but they are above breaking even. Bias writers and the terrible product lead people to assume they hemorrhage money, but they don't.

If they aren't losing money, why can't they pay their talent? That's what this whole thread is about... they have dwindling attendances, are late paying workers and sometimes not paying them at all, and are releasing guys left, right and centre to save money. Of course they are losing money.

They've been losing money forever. Panda Energy have been keeping them on life support for about ten years.

TNA canceled the live event on Friday August 23rd from Yakima, Washington and on Saturday, August 24th in Eugene, Oregon.
- TNA issued an e-mail to TNAOnDemand.com subscribers on stating that the video on demand service will no longer be offered as of Friday, August 2. Refunds are being issued to subscribers

How bad has WWE scooping up all the indie talent in the last few years hurt TNA?

I think its hurt them! The only two people they seemed to have gotten that made a big name for themselves in the Indies in recent years is Desmond Wolfe and Austin Aries, Wolfe was never used right and everyone else knows the story there. Unfortunately.

That's not WWE's problem though. If TNA can't convince people to sign for them, that's their problem. A few years ago, TNA would have had a good chance of taking some of the indy guys over WWE but these days they've got no chance. And now their cancelling shows and their On Demand Service? Shit, they'll be gone before the end of the year at this rate.

Did Dixie Carter molest you when you were a child?

TNA continues to surprise me, that's all. I keep thinking we've heard the worst and then the bad news stories continue. I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming months they cancel TV shows, and if that happens they are a ticking time bomb.

Nope, she and McIntyre were married and had a ton of arguments all the time. She got fired for having an especially loud, violent fight with him at a hotel.
She was green, but I don't remember her being dangerous. She's just not someone I'd want touring with her ex-husband.
