Week 2 of the heel Dixie project:
Creative #1: we totally killed it last week. No one saw Dixie turning heel. The crowd was silent they were so shocked.
Creating #2: I know. It was crazy. We have to top last week. Now here is what I'm thinking. We have hulk come out and be the good cop and try to get AJ to sign back. AJ is so loyal to TNA that he will sign immediately without hesitation even though the owner hates him. He'll do it for hulk. It's the feel good moment of the year!
#1: that's so good. Then how about we have Dixie come out and tear the contract up. She is so confident that AJ won't win the title that she doesn't want him under contract. Then she tells hulk he needs to join her side or be fired. Making him look sympathetic. He needs some heat so that will work.
#2: man this is good. People are going to eat this like candy. They will totally buy the ppv to see if AJ and Dixie that they won't even care that we haven't had AJ and that champion guy in the same ring at all during this build. Speaking of which, what should we do with.... What's his name?
#1: the champ? That's bully ray. It doesn't really matter if we showcase him or not. He's got the belt so he is the most important guy in the company in the fans eyes. He doesn't need to do anything but show up with the belt.
#2: so true. Let just throw him in a segment or two with some low level guys that no one cares about. It will give them a rub and people will totally start to care about them.
#1: if we were any better at this they would have to come up with a new word just to describe our talents. Let's book it.
#2: on it! Let's find Dixie. I still want to see what she thinks about the leather....
TNA is just so bad right now that it only has train wreck appeal. They have the best heel in the he biz right now and the other are shitting all over him and the title match with AJ. I just can't turn away because I don't want to miss how shitty it gets next week. This is some WCW circa 2000 shit. Btw, did anyone else catch the "I'm a Chris Benoit guy" t-shirt?

As we got a bit of discussion from the last one. I've had a look at the weeks Impact. It's from Little Rock, Arkansas and there are a lot of characters in the crowd. Sailor hat guy, 70 year old grannie in the NWO shirt guy, world champ belt guys (why do people sit there with these on their shoulders, they look a right gimp) and shades guy.
Bully Ray is out to start without the backing band. He's praising Dixie & attacking AJ. The lads come out and moan at Bully. He gives them an ultimatum. Lose against The MEM in the main event and the pinee gets cut loose.
Following on from last weeks shenanigans with BRO-MANS. Park & Young are teaming up with ODB to take them on & they've recruited Gail Kim. There are a lot of crowd members swinging Joseph Park gimmick towels. I hope they were freebies and people didn't actually waste their money on shite like that. I think Jessie & Robbie have good chemistry but the gimmick is the pits. Jessie is a well put together guy and he's quite a good mover for a rookie. Match was decent enough, bit gimmicky for the characters involved. They all did their finisher on one guy and ODB got the pin to win it. Retribution for last week and hopefully it ends there.
Austin Aries is back in town to discuss his future. Kenny King who's also been on the AWOL list, interrupts. They rehash old news about Aries taking the X Divsion belt off him when he he was under the hood as Manik. They go on a bit and ends with King cheapshotting Aries. Aries fires back and it leads into an impromptu match. They go to an ad break and when they come back, King's face is a crimson mask. Looks like he got busted open, hard way on the steel steps. The match had a good flow to it with them both getting their spots in. The crowd were heating up which led into a hot finishing sequence. Aries got the win with the Brainbuster.
They cut to a vignette for Lei'd Tapa. A female wrestler debuting soon. She was on the One Night Only all female PPV a few weeks back. The vignette itself is really poor. It looks 3rd rate and done in a garage.
Aries & Sabin are talking in the back about who's greater. Aries mentions they may fight soon. I take that to mean Sabin is wining the X division title tonight.
Hogan's out to set shit straight about AJ & Dixie. He's getting a mental reaction from the crowd and he's milking it. He tries an AJ poll with the crowd, cheer if they want him to stay. He does it a few times and the crowd pop bigger each time. Hogan says he going to fix it now.
Basic splash-screen that says EVAN IS COMING. The name Evan is filled in with diamonds. No ides who that could be.
Sabin & Manik are out for their title match. Manik even gets a ring walk this week. The match hardly gets going before Sabin is feigning a knee injury. He throws Velvet into Manik so he can get the advantage. The match was decent in parts but the camera angles made some of the stuff looked really contrived. The front face suplex off the top turnbuckle, Sabin looks like he chucks himself off it and the slingshot into the turnbuckle looked like Sabin threw himself into it. After some messing about with Velvet getting pulled into the ring. Sabin's roll up is reversed and Manik wins the match. Sabin again attacks Manik after the match and Aries saves the day.
Main event time and it's the Mafia vs. the Aces & Eights. Big brawl to start with and E.G.O. come out to sneak attack Magnus. He's taken out and disappears post ad break. It's a 3 on 2 and Sting is getting beat down. Same as last week, he's taking the bumps and getting the heels heat. Joe finally gets the hot tag and with Stings help they clean house. Wes Brisco gets trapped in Joe's Coquina Clutch and taps out.
Bully Ray comes out and wants the vest off Brisco, he's resisting as do the other members. Ray beats him up and gets the other members to take the vest off him. They finally do it. Bully is baiting the crowd a lot in his promo's to get the reaction he wants.
Now time for the Hogan/Styles face off. Hulk is out trying to get Styles to sign a new contract. After hearing the great crowd reaction, he signs it. Dixie's out and she's not happy, slags off Hulk calling him "just an employee", and she rips up the signed contract (doubt that legally voids it). She keeps doing the overplayed redneck accent, when she already has one. I think she's playing the clueless wrestling promoter to a T, she has had a lot of practise at it. Now she's trying to get the Hulkster on her side. The crowd are lapping this up, booing her big time. She gives Hogan the with me or against me speech and tells him to pick a side before next week. The show ends with Hogan holding his head and muttering to himself.
