Same old stipulations that the WWE writer jobs have. You need experience writing TV. It's about time they started hiring fans. It may sound stupid, but guys like Heyman and Cornette got their starts by being photographers. So many of the guys in the business now used to hang around after shows and do little jobs, then worked their way up. Meanwhile, all the soap writers last a maximum of three years and drop out saying the work environment is the worst and craziest they've ever experienced.

This is only because Eric Bischoff no longer has anything to do with TNA now. Plus the rumors of the company being for sale are false. I guess Panda Energy sent out a letter to the talent saying the rumors are false. I personally hope they are lying... haha!

Honestly I just try to not be very critical of TNA anymore. It's not like its fucking terrible like everyone makes it out to be. People like to blow these things out of proportion. If TNA is anything right now, it is boring and uneventful, but it isn't a fucking shitfest as some picky critics make it out to be.

But you say you don't watch. So yes you may have an opinion, everyone has one, but yours only can be taken with a grain of salt. Unless things have since changed and you do watch weekly.

I don't. I keep up. I see the odd clip or whatever if anything interests me... but every time I check what happened on the shows, there's nothing that interests me... feuds seem to go nowhere or feuds go extremely complicated. It's usually one extreme or the other. He may have won over a lot of fans just because of how long he's been there now, but they'll never convince me Bully Ray is a main event singles star. There's so many authority figures that it just gets laughable. I just don't see any part of the show that I could enjoy or could lead to something drastic. And they need something drastic, a miracle really, for TNA to ever be considered a major player again.

Maybe now, but over the last couple of years it's been ridiculous.

The good parts make it worth watching. Like stuff with Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kaz) and the Roode/Angle storyline right now. Plus with this new World Title tournament the first round matches are going to be off the hook.

Better than Essa

Last night was a pretty good show. They've started making the opening segments a long chain of things that flow into each other. So far it's been really well booked, but very light on wrestling. Still, the first hour flew by. The third quarter was a little rough but the main event picked up and in the end it was better than anything WWE has done for months. Hardy and Sabin in a TLC can't really fail and, for the painfully short match they had to have, they did a great job.

Mid Card

TNA always leaves me bored.  I'll watch a show, but find myself doing something else half way through and it becomes background noise.  Then I'll forget to watch it for the next few weeks, and not feel like I'm missing anything.

When I do watch it, Chris Daniels and Kaz are always great!!

Main Event

How do TNA expect customers to buy these One Night Only PPV's when they are out of date before the get aired. I saw a bit of one the other night (they're free in the UK) and Ken Anderson was wearing his Aces 8's gear even though he's feuding with them on Impact. The picture quality was shocking as well, it was like there was a fog on the screen. This one was a tournament to decide who is TNA's greatest champion. 6 of the 8 competitors were the same as the tournament they're doing on Impact at the moment.

I agree, the opening segment got alot of information across, was very smooth, and everything transitioned well. I like the things that they are doing that keep us guessing. Like Sting talking about entitlement, gotta wonder who is talking about? Is it Magnus? But I could also see it being ECIII, I would prefer the latter, it'd be more exciting.

Only had a few gripes with this show actually. I didn't like how much time they put into the Angle and Roode stuff. But that is minor, it would've allowed more time for the Full Metal Mayhem match though. Angle and Roode all of a sudden turned into a very HOT feud. I like how they are not making Angle the unstoppable machine he used to be and using him to put people over.

The writing has improved alot since Bischoff has nothing to do with the company now. Also Dixie is coming into her character and is more entertaining every week. She looks motivated and like she is having fun.

The AJ Styles stuff, bout him going to other companies and defending the title, I love that! This angle might be similar to CM Punk's angle a few summers ago. But this is a different side to it and it is nice that it looks like they are going to put much time into keeping AJ away for a while.
