I will check in the morning when I go on my other computer but I know that as Above the Law we lost the tag titles to somebody then won them back fairly quickly. I am also pretty sure I can fill in one of the years of the War match.

The 2011 Inductees into Hall of Fame were: Stardust and Eddie Wolfbaine if I remember correctly

Ok, with the help of the Wayback Machine, I've found some new results.  First of all, a fake result!  [chux] and Psychoclimatic did not win the 2009 War match!  It was in fact Cocozo and his team.  [chux], your re-writing of history has been thwarted 😋

Drake Blackstone won Sole Survivor 2007 by beating JTF at Gallows End 2007 (that result has long been a mystery it would seem!) and Sen & the Murphy Brothers won the War match of that year.

Now, with Blackstone winning Sole Survivor 2007, did he win 2008 as well?  I'm trying to find 2008 results so watch this space...

I think you'll find the decision was overturned, so I beat Coco's Locos single handedly.

When? I don't know, sometime last year. Yeah, it might have been the day I took over, I can't remember too clearly. But it was the same day every match in 4CW history was overturned and I won them all. Coincidence. You may as well update the list accordingly.

Well all we've got missing now is the winners of War 3 and Sole Survivor 2008 and 2010.  I can find the forums for the shows in 2006, which includes War 3, but annoyingly the Wayback Machine doesn't have the actual threads.  So unless someone has the show or results on their computer or has a really good memory, the winners are lost to history.

With regards to Sole Survivor, I don't think it was held in 2008.  I can remember 2008 quite well, and I don't recall having Sole Survivor.  We had the tag tournament, which ended at Revival with [chux] and Roky becoming tag champs.  Then we had the masked invader storyline, which ended at War V.  Wolfie vanished afterwards and [chux], Sery, Hartigan and myself took over.

Kon was in charge in 2010 and the beginning of 2011 I believe, and I'm sure he would've held Sole Survivor.  If not, then we've only had 4, and we haven't had one since 2009!!!

Another one of our traditions that's missing from the records are the winners of the Gallows Pole match.  I suppose we should have them.  When was the first match held?  I do remember [chux] was in every single one for a long time and had a winning streak until at least 2008.

Chux will probably be able to fill in the rest, considering 2012 was his first defeat at Gallows End

Gallows Pole Match
2007 - Chux (beat Stardust)
2008 -
2009 - Chux (Will give it chux even though Wolfie never wrote it.. Roky carried the match)
2010 - Jacob 'Thunderbolt' Scharff (beat chux)
2011 - No Match
2012 - Belly (Even though never quite happened, he was scheduled to beat Carstein HAHA)

2004: Beat Auctioneer in 2004, but that wasn't a pole match. Someone else had it, I can't remember who.
2005: Beat Drake Blackstone.
2006: Technical draw against Mike Nichols, but I retained so that's a win 😋
2007: Beat Stardust for the uni title.
2008: Me and Roky beat the Lords for the tag titles, making me a gallows pole triple crown champion. Hells yeah.
2009: Beat Roky and Skywolf in a dark match main event.
2010: Lost the world title to Scharff. Terrible decision.
2011: No event held.
2012: Belly beat Carstein.

I'm so glad we have this. It's so good to look back. So many great characters I forgot about... we need Strung to bring back Willy Twist. He's still to this day one of the best characters in 4CW history.

Honestly though Gallows End 2010. If I could go back knowing what I know now just as an efed booker and knowing more 4CW history. I would have pushed to go the other way having Scharff not win until the next PPV. But Kon and I were scrambling to find "new stars" since a lot of vets were leaving the fed.

The 13 Ghost match though? I'd never take that back. Alexandre lost pure and simple, but I wasn't going to lobby for Fairy to win the title. My perfect vision was for Alexandre to build good baby face sympathy and finally go on to beat Scharff for the title. Two months worth of shows and Alexandre would have been "the guy" he had the rps for them. But everyone went nuts and yadda yadda. Good times though. I loved it.

Awesome, thanks Belly and chux!

I remember the Gallows Pole match for 2008, which I wrote.  Chux was perfectly willing to let the Lords win that one, though I said no.  I like tradition and trivia, and didn't want to be the one to end his streak.  Though I guess I broke tradition by being in the first Gallows Pole match (2012) without chux since 2004!!  And I have just noticed that I've got my own Gallows Pole record, losing the most matches (2008 & 2012).  Go me!

I do hope things go back to normal and we see you in the match for 2013 chux, even if it's a one night only appearance!

I gotta say, 4CW really does have quite the legacy.  That's almost 10 years worth of championship and tournament histories there!  We might have to re-boot all the time, but we've kept our traditions and history relatively intact.  *Sniff* Makes me proud to be a 4CWer 🙂.

He was head booker but he was very kind to me as being his assistant. If I pushed hard for something, he would usually concede and then attack it together. And if he had an idea he would run it by me, if I didn't like it but he put his foot down again we attacked it together. We worked very well together. The 13 Ghost match was written and booked entirely by me. It was also my idea to give Scharff the monster push, Kondor put his stamp on it and we ran with it.

I booked on my own for a short time when Kondor left. I'd re-do my sole booking tenure just to finish what I started with the Undead Man JJ Blaze. I fucking love that character.

But no, the only time Kon and I "gave" ourselves any title was the 2nd tag title reign, the champs didnt defend their titles and we were an established tag team before we booked. Fairy winning 13 Ghost, all me. Kondor and I never won singles gold. Custom is my 1st singles title. And I didnt book that. I wouldnt have ever put a title on me unless i was in a position to put someone over the moon. i have much more fun jobbing and making people look good than i do have my own character no sell and stab people with swords and shit.

Im super glad I have finally won singles gold though. but when i drop the title one day itll be glorious.

I was doing a perfectly good job of running 4CW (the Slammy proved that) but then I got pushed off the throne so to speak haha. I was accused of only booking myself as a strong character even though I never judged my own matches and then Kon did it ten times worse. Haha brings back a lot of memories. A lot of childish arguing too. But it's all in the past now, if anything, it just makes me find this place even more entertaining. I don't think you were ever a culprit of booking yourself to win everything Smokey, you were just under Kon's wing when he did it.

Fairy winning the 13-Ghosts was really the final nail in Kon's booking coffin. It was pointless and made no sense. Ah well. I guess even WWE are guilty of that (Miz main eventing WrestleMania). I agree with Compy though, all this history, good and bad, makes me proud to be a part of this efed. It's definitely the best I've ever been in.

Man I remember this, what a backlash over the 4CW forums. I had just rejoined and wasn't quite on the staff yet, but I remember everyone being split and fighting over this. I think chux had agreed to lose, but he tapped out or something and wasn't a fan of that, neither was I. But its true what Smokey was saying, bookers lost like all the top talent and had very few active guys back then. lol and I remember that Fairey character as well.

Although it should be said nowadays Scharff is a lot more popular. After that, Stingmon improved a lot and we actually had a great feud planned where I would take the title from him before 4CW went dead again.. And the feud was based on the backlash of him winning the first title.

People had their own ideas and I was going to oblige as much as I could but I was going to make Scharff the top guy, give Alexandre his due credit with a huge title win befor he left yet again, I knew he wouldn't last win or not at 13 Ghost. Blaze was my pet project and I wanted Rhysus to make his way up the ladder until Revival where I would have liked to give him a long reign

I just wanted to make new stars and I rushed it a bit but I knew I needed to make guys like Webster, Scharff, and Rhysus huge parts of the show because after Fish, Chux, Essa, and undoubtedly Alexandre left I needed the new wave.

I found that after Above the Law's first tag title win, we lost the titles to Rocket Roky and Eddie Wolfbaine. We then won them bac shortly after with Wolfbaine turned on Roky.

It wasn't the loss that was my problem, the only reason I came back was to lose. I did many jobs on the way out, none of which I complained about because who cares? To this day I only have about a 50% record. The problem was the shambles that 4CW was left in, both before and during Kon's regime. Mordy took over and I said I'd work a bit as a favour to him, then he left and Kon - I guess - assumed that I was full time. He didn't understand that I was only there to put someone over? Not sure. Either way, he stuck with his RP based judging instead of booking pro wrestling. He had Scharff win out of nowhere instead of listening to an idea that I had which would have put him over a lot stronger in the long run. I RPed, he said it wasn't good enough. It never would have been.

Again, I didn't mind losing. I didn't even really mind Kon's booking style, although it wasn't for me. I didn't want to be playing anyway, especially not if I had to RP every week, and so I dropped out without bothering to argue with him when he asked me if there was any problems. Then when Kon left I figured I'd help out in keeping it running with a prototype format of the one I used last year, which is when I mentioned the problem I had with the way Kon did things. I guess Kon still had access to the bookers forum and went nuts at me because "I'd asked you if there was a problem and you said no!" Blah.

Ok, some updates!  I've added  the losing teams to the War match records.  Unfortunately I still can't get the results for War 3.  Now IIRC, Wolfie was Head Booker at this point after Fish had stepped down.  If only he was around, he might know the result for that one!

For War 5, I've had to put the defeated team as "The Masked Invaders".  That was a storyline Wolfie had going, where a masked team were popping up on SF to attack people at random.  He vanished so we didn't get the proper payoff, but there was a War match written and the Invaders were revealed.  I think two of them were Lion and KiD, but I'm not sure.  No idea who the other two were.

I'm pretty certain that we didn't have a Sole Survivor for 2008, so I'd changed that to "Tournament Not Held".  Pretty crazy that it's only been held 4 times.  I thought we had more!

As far as I'm aware, Lion wasn't part of the invaders storyline. Altho he may have been used without anyobe talking to me (which seems to have happened a lot in 4CW.

I remember calling out Kon for his shameless self booking (which was far worse than any other head booker had done, altho quite a few were notorious for it...). He got really stroppy with me, deleted me from fb and even posted a farewell message slamming me (how very christian of him...) His excuse was 'one of the other bookers was grading my rps so it wasnt down to me'. Quickest way to piss off a roster is to put any title or achievment that the roster can have on yourself.

I tend to quit fed that do that...

I even gave the gallows pole match to Belly and Compy because I didn't want to look like I was booking myself into big matches. No one wanted it, I could have had it, but I chose to break the streak so as not to be a dick. It's simple really. As a booker your job is to put other people over.
