Dam, AJ Styles looks so different in that image. Didn't actually recognise him. Doubt I'll be up in time to watch it, but I'll have a look for what channel it'll be on and see if I can record it - if not torrents will have to be my friend.
For the English commentary, I think in the UK you have to buy it through the Flipps App & then you can stream it to the TV.
One cool thing NJPW have set up is their own NJPW Network and like WWE Network you can stream their PPV's live in HD and watch all of the old matches dating back to the 1970's. The even better part is that its only £5.50 ($8.50) a month to subscribe.
Here's the Road to Tokyo Dome highlights package for Wrestle Kingdom 9.

I should be up by 7am (loads to do 🙁 ) so I'll try to watch. Pretty excited to be honest!!

Woo! Being in the Philippines pays off again! 3pm start! I just signed up to New Japan World too, only £5 per month. Unfortunately that might mean I miss out on JR and Striker on commentary which would be one of the main reasons to watch, but whatever. It's very cheap.

Hmm well so much for that. Just found out that it can't be streamed through Xbox all of a sudden, so I have to wait for the replay. Not a happy Compy 🙁.

New Japan World is well worth it. About £5 per month. The PPVs almost always overdeliver and the cost pays for the G1 series alone. The quality of streaming is great and the site is getting easier and easier to navigate.
This show was excellent, as expected. Nakamura looked to steal the show second from last, but you can never be sure of that when the main event is Tanahashi v Okada. And yep, they very nearly stole it back.

Enjoyed the show, Nakamura vs. Ibushi was brilliant, the story they laid out was immense. Nakamura's entrance was wonderfully mental.

Okada vs. Tanahashi was great. It didn't seem to get going until towards the end when it became more even and they were exchanging signature moves in the home stretch. Naito vs. Styles was very good, Styles Clash from the middle rope was pretty impressive. Ishii vs. Makabe, was a complete war as expected, the pair battering the tar out of each other. I'm not a fan of Taguchi so I'm glad he lost the IWGP Jr. title to Kenny Omega. That match was OK but Taguchi isn't that good. The 4-way IWGP Jr tag title match was a complete car crash as expected. Wasn't much of a fan of ReDragon but I'm starting to like them.
J.R. & Matt Striker on commentary was a unique experience. They did a good job and didn't make a fool of themselves. But they didn't show the range of emotion that the Japanese commentators do for a big spot or a string of signature moves. That may be because they didn't know a lot of the finishers or how the matches were ending.

You didn't mention Minoru Suzuki! His new look was nuts.

He did look good in white. It shows dedication to do the eyebrows too.

Damn what happened to Kenny Omega? This guy was a goofy joke wrestler from what I remember but watching WK9 he looks like a bonafide star and is dripping in charisma. What a badass.

This looks like its going to be a really great show this year. The last three matches should all be excellent. The junior tag team 4 way will be a massive entertaining spotfest. Ishii vs. Makabe will be a big strong style match. The tag title match should be pretty good also.
This will broadcast as usual in Japan but Jeff Jarretts, Global Force Wrestling will also air the PPV live in English via your PPV provider. They're got Jim Ross & Matt Striker on commentary. Its something like $45 or £25 to buy the show. Its on 7AM UK time or 2:00am ET/11:00pm PT in the US.
