I can see the merit in a complete rebranding, but I can also see the merit in keeping the name and doing an major rebranding. It's a name people know, so a major rebranding should be enough. Get proper marketing, writers, etc and they'd be able to kick off better than one with a new name I reckon.

The only thing is that TNA has had a hundred "new directions" and a hundred "appearance changes". The damage on the product has been done, I've been making a point to people when I talk to them and saying this. TNA could put out the best product on TV every week right now and they still wouldn't gain viewership because of the bad stigma they have. It'll be a huge battle to gain a positive image again.

But if they get someone in who is great at marketing to go with a much better product, they'd likely be fine. Putting in great shows is only part of it, they need someone to sell it to other people, etc. Get the right people I'm and the TNA name can survive.
I could see Sinclair doing it just for the TV deal that TNA has here. I wonder if they did if they would keep TNA going as a seperate entity? If anyone buys TNA, the first thing they should do is rename the company and brand right away and start over. The TNA brand has such a bad image at this point, its the logical thing to do. The only thing is has going is that is has a history behind it.
