This was less than 10 matches into David Flair's wrestling career. It looks like the ratio for wrestling ability for Ric Flairs siblings was David, 0%, Charlotte, 100%. Most wrestlers would start off wrestling in front of very small crowds, not David Flair. He starts off on a WCW PPV and goes from there. You can't really blame him, he had minimum training and was rushed into a position which then made him look like an idiot. 5 matches later he actually wins the US Title & goes on to beat Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit to retain it under spurious means.

Everything in that video was painful to watch. The worst part is how he runs the ropes, it looks like he's running the ropes in some sort of straight jacket. I feel bad for those who had to put him over man. He looks like the very definition of living off of your father's name. This thread should turn into a "Worst matches of all time" thread.

lol omg. I honestly believe I could have put on a better match. That dropkick "miss" my god. I understand minimal training, but Christ man. Was there some storyline involving Flair's kid b/c why the hell would you rush anyone?

Yeah & it made no sense. Late 98, Ric Flair & Eric Bischoff were feuding over who would be WCW president. David and the rest of the Flair clan would get involved.

Souled Out 99 - Ric & David Flair vs Curt Hennig & Barry Windham. This is the match where the NWO interfere and Hogan uses his weight belt to whip the shit out of David Flair.

SuperBrawl IX - Hollywood Hogan beats Ric Flair after David Flair stuns Ric with a stun gun. David exclaims he wants to join the NWO.

David buggers off to try and learn how to wrestle at the Power Plant.

Uncensored 99 - Ric Flair beats Hollywood Hogan. Using his power as WCW president to bend the rules.

May 99 - Ric Flair is still WCW president and uses his power to strip Scott Steiner of the US Title and give it to (the now forgiven & returning) David Flair. Ric & Arn Anderson would cheat in David's matches to make sure he retains.

August 99 - Ric Flair's work/shoot feud with Bischoff spills over, Ric gets sent home and David is fucked. He's loses the US title to Chris Benoit.

David goes crazy after seeing an injured Ric Flair. He befriends a crowbar, then Daffney then a real-life Crowbar.

Lol I dunno what to say. Storyline sounds silly and after seeing David Flair's wrestling ability, maybe they should have just abandoned. I mean the idea of him not being ready for a title run, so they interfere all the time is completely fine but his actual in ring ability was horrific. David Arquette was better in ring!
