Yeah I'm not buying the whole "breaking contracts" thing. They either have permission to appear or have it already in their contracts that they can appear at other shows. No one is breaking their contract for TNA and risking their jobs.
It's one of the TNA events that I will likely watch, but spilling shit like that just makes them sound desperate and so kind of puts me off it.

Josh Matthews doesn't half talk some shit.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Well the Helms Dynasty beat up a boat. A boat! Why? Because the boat broke up a pin attempt. Yeah... that all happened.
They have an "active volcano". WTF?!
They still love firing fireworks at each other way too much.
"Even the man with 3H would be proud of the way we BURIED this young promising talent" - I fucking died. Probably the greatest line in TNA history.
And that final pinfall... would love to know how they came up with that idea.
The whole thing was like Final Deletion, but on a lot more meth. The guys they got to join in with them all seemed like they were really enjoying themselves as well. You couldn't go to a wrestling event like this and not enjoy yourself really, as otherwise you'd just see all the madness and walk away.

I thought it was a disappointment. Final Deletion was fun and entertaining. This though was more like a clusterfuck that had it's funny moments - like Rockstar Spud celebrating to the crowd at a time when there was no crowd was funny. His lines were actually some of the highlights of the show.
The line about Triple H burying talent was pure gold, especially with the thumbs up afterwards. Seen some people complaining about it though - not because of the actual line, but because he's said that after having his child pin Rockstar Spud (who is apparently over?) earlier in the show. How they thought that having a little child pin an actual wrestler would be entertaining is beyond me, that whole segment was awful.
If Mathews thinks that this show beat any Wrestlemania that he's seen, I'd have to seriously question how many Wrestlemania's he's seen and want to know which ones (there have been some awful Mania's after all). Obviously hasn't watched many if he thinks this is better than any he's seen.
The whole Final Deletion was amusing because of its randomness, but now they are just beating the horse. It died weeks ago. And no, I haven't seen this show, I don't ever plan to and I don't need to, because from what I've read it's the same old shit from Final Deletion, and not even that was that funny.

You're really not missing anything. Could probably put the highlights of it together into a 2 minute video, if that. If they did another one, I don't think I'd watch it.
I think there is another one like Broken Holidays. PWX in Charlotte, North Carolina is the biggest local company to my area..even they are doing a Matt based event called "Season's Deletings" hahahaha

This is a post by Zane Riley. Portly Mid-Atlantic comedy wrestler that surprisingly has chops. If you don't recognize the name, he's the bearded bully that got thrown through a wall on RAW in Charlotte a couple weeks ago in the bar fight segment with Sheamus and Cesaro.
Anyway, good insight here from a wrestler's perspective:
Other than being insanely entertaining, I hope all of you younger guys starting out in wrestling got the real meaning of #TotalNonstopDeletion.
Don't let ANYONE shit on your ideas. No idea is stupid. If you believe in yourself and are confident in your creativity anything is possible. You can create buzz. You can save a company. You can change wrestling forever. Which, if you don't think last night changed wrestling (for the better) you're delusional.
I've always been 2 years too soon and 20 years too late for wrestling. I never wanted to be Stone Cold. Honestly, these days, I stopped considering myself a wrestler. I dont try to have 5 star matches. I put on performance art pieces. It's ok to do be that guy. For every promoter and worker (term used loosely) that shit on me, 10 more appreciated. I've never been without work and I've never compromised my definition of wrestling. Don't let anyone do that to you.
Lastly, I'm proud of the avant-garde people I've looked up to and created with. People like Greg Excellent and Dan Barry. Also, people I hope to do the same with in the future. Dick Justice, Rick Cataldo, Sonny Kiss, Kikutaro, and the list goes on forever.
Last night was a restart on wrestling. You won't witness anything like that for decades to come. Use it to your advantage.

Never heard of him and he doesn't even explain why Non-Stop Deletion was good. The phrase "no idea is stupid" has been proven to be false by the existence of Vince Russo.
He seems to think he's next Laurence Olivier. When he's pissing about in front of 50 people doing his avant-garde performance.
"I stopped considering myself a wrestler. I don't try to have 5 star matches. I put on performance art pieces."
Getting over the pretentiousness of this statement. According to Cagematch.de his nickname is "I am wrestling." Not great for someone who doesn't consider himself a wrestler.
Also the name Zane Riley on Google, brings up some Asian lad from a teen drama. I don't think this is him.

Zane Riley, just like Josh Matthews, doesn't half talk some shit.

Every one of these statements is moronic. This guy is a moron.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Actually the statement no idea is stupid isn't moronic. Do some ideas turn out to be bad or not work how you thought, yes, but the only stupid idea is the one you don't try.
With that, I enjoyed this show. It was insane, gave me what I expected in its outlandish cartoonyness, and was filled with surprises. That's honestly something lacking in wrestling, not just because of the occasional predictability, but because everyone online seems to want to be the first person to spoil something before it happens.
Y'all really hopped on that shit didn't you?? hahaahaha. Obviously, birthing Vince Russo was the truly ultimate stupid idea.
But, Sen is right with how the only stupid idea in wrestling is the one you don't try. That's what Zane is saying more or less. So, it wasn't a focused statement about how good the show was...I never said it was. It was just a perspective that I enjoyed. I believe he's addressing other wrestlers in this statement too, not people like Vince Russo who couldn't take a bump to save his life.
Cagematch.de? Really? That shit is so antiquated my father doesn't even use it...and he can't even turn on a computer.
Also, his gimmick has changed several times over the years...like anyone else's. He's been the fun drunk ("The Party Manimal") and the quasi-Russian comrade heel and now he's doing some kind of classy gimmick...a take on Mick Foley's anti-hardcore angle where he's obviously not classy but trying to act the part.
Do y'all realize people can have the same name? There is actually a person with the same name as me in the same state as me...and I have a pretty oddball name in Ford Fischer. It really isn't that hard to type in "Zane Riley WRESTLER"...and all of his shit comes right up, twitter on top, matches in the middle, pictures, results, the works.
How can you knock Cagematch, It's the largest up to date database of wrestling results & profiles from around the world.
I wouldn't dare type in Zane Riley Wrestler. By his own his words, he doesn't consider himself a wrestler anymore. He's Zane Riley artiste extraordinaire. The point I was trying to make is, if this guys name doesn't come up after a google search. He's obviously not known enough to have his opinion merited over someone else's.
I wouldn't have said anything if the fella didn't come across as a pompous idiot making absurd claims. He's talking like he's in 70's Berlin with Bowie, Warhol & Lou Reed creating a new wave art movement. It's pro-wrestling. Blokes in little pants, oiled up and play fighting in front of 50 hillbillies. Throw some comedy in there if you like. But don't pretend you've reinvented wheel.

Ok I'll concede on the pompous part. And to be the first result of Zane Riley, he would have to be a current WWE champion. I never said to take his opinion as scripture, I just said I enjoyed the perspective about not being shut down no matter how terrible the idea. Sure, he got a bit carried away. Whatever. The message is still the same as Neil Young's, "Don't Be Denied"
Featuring tag teams from all over the world. They reckon that many teams are going to be breaking contracts to appear. Seems a bit delusional that statement, as who would give up their perfectly good contract for a TNA that is still in decline.
It's being touted as the "biggest Impact event of all time," and will also feature the "in-ring debut" of Matt Hardy's infant son Maxel.
Anyway, this is what Josh Mathews has said about it.
Best part is in the comments to that tweet, someone put a gif of Jericho saying that he's just made the list. Mathews then blocked him.
