Yeah I had no idea Spike UK even existed before this news broke lol. I miss the days of TNA on The Wrestling Channel. Does anyone else from the UK remember that? Back in like 03-06 they had all sorts of wrestling on there, old World of Sport, TNA, a lot of random, indy stuff. It was one of my favourite channels before it changed to the Fight Channel before just dying out completely.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Yeah I get Spike. Not sure whether most people get it, but it comes with Virgin Media. Never watched anything on it though and TNA won't make me start either. Past dealings with Spike must have helped and also the fact that Dixie isn't in charge anymore - probably gives the channel more confidence in the new guys to produce a product that people will want to watch.
Someone let me know when TNA get's good and I might consider TiVoing it.
Sounds like Spike TV is bigger over here in the US than the UK. I wonder if at some point TNA will be on Spike again here in the states now that Dixie isn't around anymore?

I saw something on that the other day and forgot to mention it - seems that Spike TV in America has no interest in TNA following their past dealings. Dixie no longer being part of the discussions doesn't matter it seems. They've not even considered discussing a deal.

Spike US is being rebranded as the Paramount Network, so it's family orientated as opposed to catered towards a male demographic,

So this starts on the 21st of this month. Anyone in the UK going to be watching it?
TNA, despite losing a few wrestlers due to contracts ending (there's rumours that there's more set to leave as well), have managed to get a TV deal with us over here in the UK. Not on a major network mind you, it's with Spike TV, which I didn't know I had until the other day. Not that I will be watching, at least until I hear that they have upped their game and made it worth my time.
TNA are historically popular over here, drawing good crowds whenever they come over. The new TV deal still comes as a surprise though given that they seem to be losing talent, and you'd have thought that would have come up during talks on why it would be worthwhile signing a TV deal. Surely if Spike knew people would be leaving, including arguably their top stars at the moment in the Hardy's, they wouldn't have signed the deal. Maybe something is happening that we don't know about yet and a few people are set to join TNA that will make it all worthwhile.
TNA continue to fight on though.
