I watched WCPW No Regrets. WCPW always puts on a somewhat entertaining show. Here were my thoughts:
WCPW No Regrets Review
PRESHOW: Juventud Guerrero & Rey Fenix vs Drago & El Hijo De Dos Caras --Decent pre show Luchadore match. C-.
Travis Banks vs Penta El Zero M --Some vicious spots. Really entertaining opener, started a bit slow though. C+.
Prince Ameen vs Brandi Rhodes -There are times in wrestling when Intergender matches are done really well. This one was not really on of those times. Brandi Rhodes was in a headlock and literally smiling from ear to ear at one point. Plenty of botched spots too. D.
WCPW Internet Title: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Joe Hendry vs Gabriel Kidd Decent match. Not much to say it was a pretty standard triple threat. C.
El Ligero vs Rey Mysterio I'm a big fan of El Ligero so this was a kind of dream match. It was pretty decent, although the first half of the match was a little boring. C
WCPW World Championship 30-Man Rumble As far as Rumbles go it was decent. We knew Galloway was going to drop the belt. The eventual winner was a good choice in my opinion. Some fun moments with alot of talent in the ring too. B-
My main problem with this show was production and video/audio problems. The first 30 seconds of the commentators introduction was silent, at times the stream randomly cut to an earlier part of the match and yeah, they need to work on that, but in terms of in-ring entertainment, it was a good show. Better than your average TNA show these days. Enough big names to make the show feel important too.
Their production really needs to improve. I find their commentary at times is difficult to listen to because it you can hear the echo of the room. They make enough money, so they need to invest in some proper mics that don't make it sound so bad.
