Unpopular Wrestling Opinions
Was just discussing with a mate and he reckons I have what many would consider an unpopular wrestling opinion. Which got me thinking, I want to hear others. So give me what you've got!
I suppose I should start. Triss Stratus wasn't that good. She wasn't bad, but when you consider the women's wrestling at the time was complete shit with barely any women that would wrestle at a decent level, it made her look a lot better than she actually was. Not saying I didn't like her, I can appreciate that she did a lot and that it made it look natural instead of awkward like more than half the women at the time, but I think she's held in far too high a regard when it comes to wrestling ability.

Main Event · 798 commentsI hate squash matches. If it’s Brock or Goldberg destroying a local jobber, maybe when they are first coming up. Fine. I get the whole beast angle. But when you have championship matches at PPVs that are the Champion getting squashed. It’s a joke. Like Goldberg annihilating Kevin Owens, or any of Lesnar’s crap. Or even Sheamus winning in 4 seconds at Wrestlemania against Daniel Bryan. It’s just so god damn stupid. I don’t see how it helps anything. It just hurts the title prestige, hurts the competition, and is just flat out dumb

Man, that was fucking stupid. I almost rage quit Wrestlemania lol. It literally adds nothing and people wanted to see that match, so all they did was piss people off. Don't mind the odd squash. Man, Lesnar Vs Cena was amazing as I couldn't believe what I was watching. Half the time though I don't enjoy them. Especially hate the ones where it's just to get a record or some stupid shit like that.

Main Event · 798 commentsI agree with you about that Lesnar/Cena match. It was like after that, Lesnar was annihilating most the competition. I have no issues having him win, but Jesus Christ make it competitive. I like what they did a year or two ago with Finn Balor and Lesnar. They need more of that and enough with the squashing. Big waste of time, downright stupid, and it hurts the brand when one top star demolishes another.
The Owens one really bothered me. I felt like his whole reign was Bullshit. Goldberg was “retired” but apparently he can just come back and take the title whenever he wants. Wtf
