The pettiest WWE have been?
Don't know why I'm thinking of this, but what's the prettiest story you can remember coming out of WWE?
My favourite which made me think of this is Orton's first title win. Upset at how Lesnar just announced he was leaving, and apparently that meant that he could no longer be WWEs youngest ever champion so they rushed Orton into winning the title.
Who knows whether that's the real reason, but I can remember the reports at the time and it was hilarious at how petty they were making McMahon out to be. Although it's funny, as Lesnar was WWE champion and Orton was Heavyweight Champion. Different belts, so Lesnar is still technically the youngest ever WWE Champion.

Main Event · 798 commentsthe originally money in the bank with Edge winning and then I believe he cashed in against Cena, after Cena just defended in......elimination chamber? Something nuts where he was just dead afterwards. Edge had that suitcase nearly a year two. Awesome heel move, I loved it

Admin · 3,242 commentsI always find how they handle contract disputes to be pretty petty... take Rusev at the moment.
-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Rusev has been taken off of TV due to a “contract dispute” which is also why his storyline with Bobby Lashley and Lana seemed to stop abruptly with Rusev not even getting his “revenge.” If the contract situation is worked out, the speculation is that WWE will work towards a blow-off match that would tie up the loose ends of the program.
Contract isn't up yet, so they could still do the blow-off match that was planned... but instead, he's taken off TV because they can't come to an agreement on an extension.
