Sounded good to me. Varied discussion, quite funny at times. Smoot's mic was a little quiet and tough to hear at times but other than that, keep up the good work.

Great job man. Good knowledge and up to date topics. Had me dying with the TNA and distorted voices conversation. Rhys was right about the american's mic, little quiet at times. This was still very good and I look forward to the next. Podcasts aren't always the easiest things to do. But I do enjoy them.

I wasn't really sure I did! I tried years ago to enunciate less, just generally speak less clearly because that's what sounds the worst, try to let some Bristolian accent out, that kind of thing. I would have bet it didn't work though, I figured I'd just fall back into habits and end up sound like "an emasculated William Regal" again.

Hahaha. I read somewhere that posh accents are the most welcome type of accent to foreigners when speaking english, and the most easy to understand. Maybe it's the enunciation. I guess being well spoken can't ever be a bad thing, but in this pod you sounded more like me than a Bristolian farmer.

Apparently, the welsh accent is the most liked when speaking over the phone to a bank, call centre etc. I guess that explains why 90% of the jobs in Swansea are call centres.

When I go abroad, especially if I go to America for some reason, I'll definitely play up the accent.

It will help you pick up girls as well. American girls are stupid and they are a sucker for an accent.

That is 100% correct. I gotta friend living over here from South Africa (lived there til he was like 22 and been here since 05) and his accent gets him laid. Even our friends and myself see benefits from it. Mind you, these were mostly stupid ass college girls but what else is there to do in college? Study? Hahaha

Goodness knows how I sound to other people.  I've always thought I've got a plain voice, though I will admit that now and again some real "Welshness" can appear.  Especially words that sounds like "ew" like computer and beautiful.  I have to put some real effort when saying them to not sound really Welsh.

Haven't listened to the podcast (I will when I get bored enough...) but I did watch the clips.  The 2nd one was so bad it ended up being quite good.  Once I'd realised Jay Lethal was being Rick Flair I quite enjoyed it, and the "that's my line" back an forth at the end did raise a laugh.

The 1st clip was more meh.  You can put the benny hill theme to a funeral and it becomes funny.

New one. It's a super long episode, but I didn't like it as much as the others. Felt a bit messy to me, like we were talking all over each other (especially me, I have a delay on my headset) and there was little direction. Anyway, like the title says, if you're interested...

Nope, I don't think we talked about SmackDown at all. In fact we recorded it on Wednesday night, so anything we did say would have been from the previous week. It was mostly about SummerSlam and the post-SummerSlam Raw.
