My new podcast, if you're interested

finally....

My second question got cut from show 9, is it in show 10? I'm only 30 minutes into that show as of now, just waiting for it to buffer so I can jump to that point and finish listening.

The player for episode 10 has the AIDS. After about 30/40 minutes it shows up as an error, but continues playing. I missed the last 20 minutes of that show when I had to walk away for a bit. Once the error pops up if you pause it, it just restarts and you cannot rewind or fastforward. :\

Hmm. I don't know what to say about the player. I know at least one other person has had no problem listening to it, but that's not to say there isn't something wrong. Have you tried downloading it as a file and playing it that way?

As I remember it, I asked your second question later in the show. If you've listened to the whole thing and it's not on there, someone has hacked the show to pieces. For the record, we pretty much all agreed that the chants are going to stick around for a while because they're such a great way for fans to show their approval or disapproval for pretty much anything. Booing and cheering - at least if you ask me - has been way too easy to dismiss for the sake of the promotion's agenda. People boo Cena vociferously and they claim it's a good thing because "people pay to boo him." Stupid logic if you ask me. Just shouting "no" or "boring" like they have been recently is a much clearer signal that we don't like what's happening. It's over, and while the what chants are still around, they've been replaced by yes and no to some extent. Nothing in the last 12 years has been able to do that, so I'm guessing they're not going anywhere in the near future.

Yea, I missed it. I guess the player was being weird on that episode too.

I've not tried downloading any of the shows yet. I'm just going to assume episode ten was an anomaly for me. I'll come up with some more questions too. I almost wanna say just call me Beefy, but I love how you talk about the whole BFP thing after airing my question lol.

I'm a few shows behind, but I always download them. Doesn't take long and you can listen uninterrupted.

Thanks. I kinda wish I was doing it with you actually, you had an awesome radio voice. If we hadn't done those three or four shows way back I probably wouldn't have done these. It took me long enough to get back into it!

It would be great to hear your feedback if you ever do get a chance, but I know how it is. We regularly joke that no one is listening to us because we're well aware of what we are (and what we're not).

I meant to reply to this sooner but i just forgot... thanks for the compliment i think my voice has aged and gotten a tad raspy since 2007 though. 😋 i enjoyed doing those with you... felt like we clicked very easily and we became better friends after that as well... makes me happy we still have a 4w to hang out at even if i don't post much and am no longer a top member of 4w.. i still like being here... i miss some of the other guys though... so many people just seem to be gone now... don't get me wrong though we still have great people... hopefully i can put one of these on soon and have a listen.

Raspy is good too! I'm very jealous of people with those rich, deep voices. If I could sound like Patrick Stewart or James Earl Jones I would be a happy man!

This one is late because I've taken over upload duty, but my FTP program was only a trial so the login info was lost and I had to rely on Will to re-send me it. Schoolboy error. Havent listened lately because my net is limited but they are great so dont give them up.

Not going to give them up, they're good fun to do. But it would be nice to know if they're being listened to at all, we still have no way of knowing.

Ill try and catch up. Dont you have some sort of blog where comments can be made or something? Seems the most logical thing to me.

My podcast is on Downcast and that's how me and the guy I work with, Mike, get our numbers. Around 700 downloads and we're 16 episodes in. Plenty of downloads on iTunes too but the numbers aren't accurate there. Downcast is much more accurate.
