And Zaha. Cardiff are being quite busy this transfer window.

Well Cabaye has gone for £20m plus add ons. He'll be a big miss.

Finally got a striker in. De Jong, initially on loan and then we'll buy him in the summer if he does well. I'm hoping that he will do as before he went to Germany he looked like a good player, and at just 23 he's got years in him.

Cabaye will be missed. Where did he go?

PSG, so back to France. They have a cracking midfield so he won't be an automatic starter there. Odd choice considering it's a World Cup year. He'd have been better off staying with Newcastle until the end of the season and then moving. But oh well, we have a few days to get in a replacement.

Newcastle will regret that.  I dont think they'll bring in someone as influential as Cabaye was in time. Cabaye was the key player there. I heard that Newcastle onky won 4 games without Cabaye since 2011.

Why was he so desperate to leave? Since Arsenal turned his head in the summer it seems like he thought he's above Newcastle, the guy isn't even that good. He'd be a bench player at a top league.

Lots of talk about Arsenal and Draxler, don't see it happening in this window but probably in the summer.

He wants to win something apparently.

Of course you'd think that if you never win anything 😋

It's deadline day! Swansea are rumoured to be signing Nacer Chadli on loan til the end of the season. He would be such a boost to our squad if we could nab him.

EDIT: Deal apparently has fallen through, which is a shame.

Sky sources understand that Swansea are hoping to wrap up deals for Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan and Middlesbrough forward Marvin Emnes. Emnes would be decent backup in our attack and Bannan could also be useful considering the amount of injuries we have.

Fulham are after Neil Taylor but the general feeling in the Swansea camp is they'll only sell him if they can find a replacement and there's been no word of Swansea signing any defenders today.

Crystal Palace are busy... Wayne Hennessey and Jason Puncheon have been signed... Joe Ledley and Tom Ince could be joining them, but Stoke has also made a late bid for Ince so who knows.

Swansea have signed goalkeeper Fabianski from Arsenal, who's contract expires in June.

This is fuelling rumours that Michel Vorm is on his way to Liverpool and Ashley Williams is also on his way to Arsenal. Swansea have just said that "no offers have been made for either player".

Liverpool? Vorm has been better than Swansea since they were promoted, but Liverpool is one of the very few clubs who really don't need him. Mignolet has been excellent. Maybe Everton, if they're thinking Howard is getting a bit old at 35.

I don't think they need him either but Rodgers is supposedly high on him and wants him at the club. Rodgers is the one who brought him to Swansea in 2012 after all.

I'm more concerned about Williams to Arsenal though; hes down to his last year and rumour is he has no intention of signing a new contract meaning Swansea will want to sell while they can.

More concerning is that Liverpool have bid for Lambert. They'll ruin him as he'd go from first team football to a bench warmer.

That's not necessarily a bad thing for Liverpool, they do need a backup striker and Lambert is getting old. But yeah, they really don't need to be looking for strikers and keepers before replacing their back four.

Liverpool and Southampton have agreed a deal for Lambert for 4m. Plus, Liverpool have made a final bid of £25m for Lallana.

According to Sky Sports, Swansea have agreed a £6.5 million deal for Luc Castaignos from Twente.

Assuming its true im a very happy fan. This is a terrific signing for a great price if you ask me. Castaignos is a fantastic young player and is perfect for the Swans team.

Liverpool and Man Utd are about to vastly overpay for players. Liverpool with Lallana for £25m and Man Utd with Shaw for £30m. Neither are worth that, and I really rate Lallana.

United also bought Ferrera for £29 million. I guess it's not so bad considering they didn't spend anything last year, but still...

Apart from white guy afro for £27m, even though they could have got him for £23m.

Swansea are according to Sky signing french international striker and former Lyon striker Gomis. Then again they said the same about castaignos and we still dont have official confirmation.

Man Utd ended up paying £27m for Luke Shaw. Obviously overvalued but Southampton did well to get so much for him.

Newcastle missed out on him and I'm glad we did on this one. He wanted way too much money. He wanted £90k a week. Fuck that, he's a good player, but not worth that much a week. If he was he'd be at the World Cup with France. Still, I think he'll do well at Swansea. Just a shame he demands such a huge contract.
