Apparently all of the cool kids are coming back to 4w.

Oh wait, just me and Essa returning this month? Yup, that about covers the cool kids.

Glad to see that this place is still around in some shape or form, even if the new age layout made me scratch my head a little bit.

I don't write much these days, and I kind of miss it, but sadly, there is no time. Having two kids and my career stepping up changed things. I'm now a Lighting Designer and Audio Engineer, spending most of my time on the weekends running different live production aspects for local, state, and national artists, depending on what I am needed to do that day. It's a lot of fun and has given me a creative outlet in a whole new and profitable way.

Hopefully everyone is doing well, I'll probably pop back in from time to time to see how everyone is.

so i spent the last couple days in the hospital... my back was all messed up from a small bump i took so i went to get checked out to make sure everything was alright because my left leg felt very weak and tingly... so i get there they check me out and seem very bothered by vitals they notice i had a small fever and decide to take some blood and urine next thing i know they are having me stay and talking to me about being cautious because things aren't checking out with my results and honestly i have no idea what they were looking for.... i heard a few things blood infection, spinal infection, possibly a failing organ..... in the end i was cleared on all that and they wanted to take care of my back so they  decided to go ahead with an epidural in my lower spine which i was going to have done anyways but with insurance and everything i was still looking to wait a month for it.... so yeah they sped it up... i'm home now i don't feel great, but i'm pushing on... i need to work on eating more... im kind of including all of you on something that is very private.... i have a mild eating disorder i think... i never have an appetite, when i do i can only eat a little bit at a time... i've lost a bit of weight and my doctors want me to put on 30-40 lbs... i'm like 149lbs right now and i guess my body type says that's too low.... and i do feel a bit unhealthy about it... i'm not starving myself or puking it up or any of that... i don't like see myself being fat or  any thing... i just can't eat for the life of me.

well i just thought i'd share that with some of you guys.... i'm hanging in there and i'm gonna get well. 🙂

Savage. Glad it's nothing like organ failure though, that'd be awful. Don't worry about the eating thing, it's likely nothing. The spine can do funny things - I've had stomach issues for years (turns out it's just a lot of allergies) but one of the things they checked on was my spine as apparently nerves through that affect different organs., not just limbs. It could just be a side effect of that and when your back is better you'll find you have more of an appetite.

That could very well be... my regular doctor i think was trying to say something like that to me before but they talk so technical sometimes that my brain doesn't get it... i'm a smart guy but not doctor smart.... and yeah i don't know if i mentioned it in the other post but after so many pokes i was like how come i have to keep giving blood? and the nurse was all like we will be able to tell if you have a failing organ ect.... i was like what! how serious is this?! so i was actually scared and frantic for a bit i yelled at a doctor even... i just wasn't feeling like my normal self cause i don't do that ever.

i almost want to write the doctor an apologie for that.... oh well.  i'm just glad to know i'm healthy and not dying haha. just really gotta get this back in shape...as it just seems to get worse.

Navigating is just such a pain now tbh. I used to drop in at least once a week (often more) and click on the new posts to catch up and add my comments to. Now I have no clue what's new, or what the threads are. The new format is the reason I haven't been on here in a few months. Maybe it's different on laptop, but on my mobile (which is what I use to surf) I can't get on with it at all 🙁

It is different on a laptop/PC. Mobile view is something that I'm working on, as although it's optimised for mobile, it can be a lot better.

I think it works great on the iphone... but i also know how to navigate through easily most likely because i had gotten use to this lay out on my laptop before i had tried logging in on my phone.

Couldn't get on with the board layout tbh. This one seems much better so hopefully I'll be about more often now.

I loved the other theme, but the more I'm messing around with this one the more I'm liking it. I think it'll end up staying as the theme.

Hey there folks.  I figured I'd go ahead and sign up again.  I've been talking to Senecca and loosely stay in touch with Revolving Door, Supreme, and a few others via Facebook.  Seems like 4w is still alive and well.  Maybe not as many users, but still the same ol' fun!!  Glad to see benjawi has kept it going....thank you!!

We don't really do any of those old games or anything - but hey, there's no reason why you can't try and revive some of them (except 4CW - I don't think realistically we'll get that back up and running.)

Hi, 4W. I'm an old-timer around these parts - formerly known as Ravvy / Ravnos, I've been a part of 4W since 2004, if I'm not mistaken. I can't seem to access my existing account, not that it matters anyways. I'm happier without it. Was once a 4CW cruiserweight champion. Damn, I do miss 4CW. Sparked some decent creative writing in me. Well, many moons have come and gone since 4W's golden age but still, here I am - dropping in to see if this place and some of its senior residents are still kicking around. Any odds on a custom title as a heads up of who I am? Just "Formerly Ravvy" maybe?

Any case, it really is nice to see 4W again. I've whiled away so many hours on these forums in the past, in those terrible, awkward teen years - some of which is hard or just odd to look back on, but my history with this place is mostly positive and remains a little part of me and how I got to who I am today.

It's a welsh variation of the name "Reese".. although I don't know how many times people have called me "Rize" lol

Well I've always liked the look of it, it has character. Do you speak the language?

I used to be fluent as a child. As I grew older, I left the welsh school I attended and sort of forgot a lot of it. I can still speak it a little bit, though.
