Right now I'm loving Killswitch Engage's newest singles, "Strength of the Mind" and "Hate by Design" which are from their brand new album, Incarnate, coming out March 11!
I'm a huge KsE fan so this is awesome.

The new Killswitch material has actually been very good, indeed.
Been listening to a lot of The Cure lately - great band, and a lot of material to pick through. Some other goth stuff and a lot of proggy metallic stuff too, like Mastodon and Agalloch. Also, Porcupine Tree fans should really check out Steven Wilson's latest solo effort. Awesome prog rock.

I've been enjoying some of their work with Mangini on drums. This band is always hit-or-miss, but material with him, especially in 2011 seems more focused and less "let's noodle around for 2 hours" - except on the new album, which does exactly that, but in 3-minute chunks.

Yeah I was listening to Octavarium, hopefully I spelled that right. That album is great! I guess most music sounds better after a few beers though lol. They seem like one of those bands where it is a chore to listen to their album

2 Pac - All Eyez On Me. the album.... still really enjoying going down nostalgia road with west coast rap music(even though 2pac is from the east coast) that i spent a good portion of my youth listening to. 🙂
The brand new Killswitch album finally leaked after waiting for like a week so I'm totally immersed in that. Could be KsE's best record yet.

Lead vocalist of Rammstein's solo project. it's all in english. It's a funny album... this song is funny and gross. \m/
If you listen to just one track from Killswitch Engage's new album Incarnate, make it "It Falls On Me" ... Gorgeous riffs, great melodic vocals and great, big, fat heavy parts including an incredible outro.
I know I'm a Killswitch fan boy but I haven't enjoyed a KsE album as much as this one since Alive or Just Breathing. Disarm the Descent was great but this is a whole new level.

In a blues kind of mood...maybe it's the hangover I had. A local radio DJ does that on Sundays called "The Sunday Blues Hangover"...always a good remedy hahaha

My girlfriend got me really into a great Balkan rock / country kinda band called Katzenjammer. Very talented songwriters / musicians who do both upbeat and mellow just right. Their cover of Land of Confusion is great.

Rob Zombie always has some Gems hidden throughout his albums.. but i gotta admit his last couple albums as a whole have been kinda weak... which bothers me a little bit since he has J-5 and Ginger Fish in his band.
I'm rocking Megadeth, i know i've always been the original resident megadeth fan here... sery is too. but i haven't really listened to them in a couple years now outside of what i hear on the radio or if i'm shuffling my music library.. anyways i got a hold of Metallica's Kill Em all/Ride the Lightning 2016 remastered sets this past weekend and really enjoyed them i'm pretty sure at least in Kill Em all, i was hearing things i've never heard on that album in the entire 24-25 years since i first heard that album on a crappy cassette tape... Phantom Lord sounds better then it ever did... i was never a big fan of that song until i got to hear the remastered edition....
So anyways my story leads me back to Megadeth... i recalled i also have had Megadeth remasters that came out a few years back stored away on of my backup hardrives and i dug it out and sure enough i did... i never bothered to listen to them before.... so i played Peace Sells, Countdown, and Youthanasia off and on since yesterday evening... and yeah i love that band.... super good stuff.
So yeah i'm Listening to Megadeth.
Fuck yeah, Megadeth! \m/ I own Countdown and have Peace Sells and scattered other stuff on my laptop - great albums.
