I found out shortly after word broke when Artie Lange posted about it on FB. Then I told my brother and he didn't believe me until a few minutes later when everyone started blowing his phone up. Sopranos and Gandolfini was a big hit in this family.

One of the greatest lead roles in TV history, RIP Tony Soprano.

I'd bet that it's related to his weight, he seemed to gain more more each season of the Sopranos and didn't look like he was gonna get healthy anytime soon.
