Both games are great again, but I'm still a Pokemon fan after 20 years and it all started with Pokemon Blue. It has to get my vote.

Maybe it's because I suck haaaaaaard at mega man games, but Pokémon wins this one for me.

Welcome to the Greatest Nintendo Game of All Time contest, first round.
The matchups were randomly decided.
I will put the matches up every other day, and each round will be open for three days (so there'll probably be 2 or 3 matches taking place at any one time). I want to get through the first round as quickly as possible.
ROUND ONE, MATCH TEN
Pokemon Red & Blue (GB/GBC)
Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy. They are the first installments of the Pokémon series. The player controls the protagonist from an overhead perspective and navigates him throughout the fictional region of Kanto in a quest to master Pokémon battling. The goal of the games is to become the champion of the Pokémon League and complete the Pokédex by obtaining the 150 available Pokémon. The games' releases marked the beginning of what would become a multibillion-dollar franchise, jointly selling millions of copies worldwide. In 2009 they appeared in the Guinness Book of World Records under "Best selling RPG on the Game Boy" and "Best selling RPG of all time".
Mega Man 2 (NES)
Mega Man 2 is an action-platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Mega Man 2 continues the titular protagonist's battle against the evil Dr. Wily and his rogue robots. With more than 1.5 million copies sold, the game is the best-selling Mega Man title. Critics praised its audio, visuals and gameplay as an improvement over the first game. Many publications rank Mega Man 2 as the best title in the series, and as one of the greatest video games of all time.
WHO WINS? YOU DECIDE.
