Commentator Profiles
Play-by-Play Scott Phoenix: Born on March 22nd, 1961. 57 years old. 6’2”, 240 pounds. Scott is a former professional wrestler who fought for the better part of twenty years before he blew his left knee out. He sold cars for a living before being offered the job by Skywolf, ensuring a guaranteed salary that would soon eclipse any amount he earned while wrestling. He’s the classic face, who always cheers for the good guys and stands up for what’s right, but also won’t be intimidated or take crap from roster members. He knows just about every move there is to know, and is almost always the one leading the team in calling the match. Though often in disagreement, he considers his long time broadcast partner, Ray Jeffrey, a close and personal friend. Scott has been married for 23 years and has an 20 year-old daughter.
Heel Color Ray Jeffrey: Born November 3rd, 1977. 40 years old. 5’10”, 165 pounds. Ray was never interested in wrestling until a friend of his was hired to help a fledgling promotion called 4CW create some promotional spots, and used his voice as the narrator. 4CW officials were impressed by his speaking ability, as well as his naturally charismatic voice, and gave him a try out on the debut of Storm Front, intending to replace him with their original choice on the second show if it didn’t work out. Ray’s been with 4CW ever since. When he first started, he was the polar opposite of Scott, but has matured slightly since then, and even calls the match from time to time instead of making a sexual reference or insult, although those are still quite prominent. He constantly banters Scott, who he considers his friend, but is legitimately annoyed by James. Ray has no children, but was briefly married for half an hour in 2001.
Face Color James Roberts: Born December 16th, 1982. 35 years old. 5’7”, 130 pounds. Being part of the announce team is a dream come true for James, who watched wrestling his whole life. Being told he was too small to make it, he instead turned his focus on announcing, often being the play-by-play man to the colour commentator in small-time federations despite not being as knowledgeable in the technical aspect as more experienced announcers. His passion for the sport is what earned him the third spot on the commentary team, and he now looks up to Scott as a mentor, often agreeing with him on every topic and trying to emulate him by calling the match in much the same, yet less-experienced, manner. James has a 15 year-old son by his ex-girlfriend.
These were written by Skywolf a long long time ago, and I found them on my laptop. I've updated them!
