Pokemon Sun/Moon

Went and got myself a Nintendo 2DS XL yesterday. Picked up Pokemon Yellow for a bargain £5 along with it - loved that game when I was younger and I've played it non-stop all day so far. Also picked up Pokemon Gold.

I have arriving tomorrow handle grips for the console as my hands are too big and they cramp holding the thing. Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is coming with it 😄

Any recommendations? I will be getting Metroid 2 soon as well.

First of all the following games are available on the Nintendo e-shop for free:

Pokemon Shuffle
Pokemon Rumble World
Team Kirby Crash Deluxe

Shuffle is an addictive puzzle game akin to candy crush, Rumble World is a dungeon crawler and Kirby Crash is a beat 'em up type game.

As for other games:

-Pokemon Sun or Moon
-Pokemon X or Y
-Pokemon OmegaRuby or AlphaSapphire
-Super Mario 3D Land
-Mario Kart 7
-New Super Mario Bros 2

And in November, we're getting sequels to Pokemon Sun & Moon called Ultra Sun and Moon, no doubt it'll be worth picking up too.

A Link Between World's arrived today so I'm happy.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are identical apart from:

-Day/night cycle is reversed in moon.
-A handful of exclusive Pokemon on each.
-A different legendary Pokémon on each.

If you haven't gotten them yet though you're better off waiting until Ultra Sun and Moon drop on Nov. 17. They are supposedly going to be the final Pokemon games for 3DS. And Kirby Clash is great, but it's also basically a mobile title. It's free to play but you can buy stuff to make your life easier, and generally should if you can afford it.

Yeah, I heard about that. RIP Nintendo Handhelds. As good as Switch may be, it's not the same thing as a classic Nintendo handheld. And let's be honest, if Pokemon is leaving the console, it's essentially the death of that console. I'd be surprised if they make 3DS games after 2018

I completed Link Between Worlds. Loved that game.

Added Super Mario 3D Land and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to my collection. £30 for both of these together was a bargain I thought. So onto three games now - if you don't include the classic Pokemon games I got with the console.

Mario is great, as expected. Ocarina of Time... so far I prefer Link Between Worlds, but they've vastly different games in look and game play. I'm sure after a bit of time, I'll love this game as well.

I'm going crazy. Added Pokemon Sun and Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate to my expanding collection.

I've since added:

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars - got for 67p.
Metroid: Samus Returns - found for £25. £40 everywhere else, so couldn't help myself. As fun as I remember the Metroid games being.

I picked up Pokemon Diamond for £12 second hand. Classic DS game. For me to transfer those Pokemon to the newest game will take a lot of tedious steps, but it's really cool to have the nostalgic game on an actual DS rather than an emulator.
