Going Away/Returning Thread

I think it was actually in this thread about six years ago lol. We’re still chugging along. We don’t get much traffic but we still keep 4CW going (granted, we’re a few months behind but if it ain’t late, it ain’t 4CW!)

Yeah this place i a ghost town.. but i want to say about 5 or 6 of us have stayed friends off the forums and remain really close friends to this day.

Went down a rabbit hole again and ended up here. I said to myself "Hey, it hasn't been that long since you last checked in" - well, low and behold it's been about four years. Crazy. Just wanted to say what's up to everyone and send the love. Just turned 32 last month (remember 15 year old me doing YouTube shoots? Yeah, that feels like a lifetime ago now) and am going back to college for my degree in business. My girlfriend and I (of 10 years. Don't worry, we're gonna get married. Just wanna have enough coin for a nice big good ole fashioned wedding) purchased a house a few years ago and are doing excellent. We've got a dog and two cats now.

I still keep up with wrestling as well but not at the clip I used. Mostly AEW, but WWE has become a little more tolerable to me lately. After I stopped posting here regularly back around 09ish, I started playing video games competitively. Started off with Halo for two years before playing Call of Duty for three so that's where my passion lies now. I love playing any sort of a competitive video game with Apex Legends and CSGO being my choices for the past couple of years.

Hope to see some friends in the replies as it's been too long. Glad this place is still here to come in and say what's up. Kind of like a bar that never closes. Again, hope all is well with everyone and you're all living happy, joyous lives!

I've been pretty shite and absent for a while, as I just haven't been keeping up with wrestling at all. Can't even recognise most of the names now whenever I read up on it. But I'm gonna start posting in other forums like sports, gaming and off topic again. Even though I own it, I miss this place

Well that's a blast from the past! Glad things are going well for you. The competitive gaming scene can get quite intense, definitely not my pace or skill level. xD

You'd possibly recognize my long-dead username from way back in the day, Ravnos. This thread is the only place you'll see it nowadays, for this exact purpose. Feels like a lifetime ago, and I imagine we were all quite different people then. I almost literally am - came out as queer and eventually (finally) transitioned, and many of my interests and values have evolved. 4W is one of my biggest thru-lines from the 2000s to now, come to think of it. Once a wrasslin' nerd, always a wrasslin' nerd, I guess.
