It could well be a feature to stop spam and things like that. I haven't had a chance to look into it yet to be honest. I'll see if I can find anything on it this week.

Am a bit confused at the moment... I been using my laptop all night on my wifi to post on the boards etc then i tried to post and it sent me to a page saying i didnt have pernisdion to post or something..

Now i cant get on here using my wifi either on laptop or my phone... yet if i turn wifi off and use 3G it lets me on fine... my Wifi is working fine for wvery other website etv just not 4w, instead it sends me to a web page unavailable page and asks me to check the address is right..

I had been using it fine all night then i posted and tried to respond 2mins later and now i cant access 4w using my WIFI which means i cant use laptop

I have the same problem. It doesn't always happen but it usually happens when I try to post something. It just displays a white screen and says I don't have permissions to post on this server. It usually only lasts about 15 minutes but it's a pain in the ass either way.

It lasted a couple of hours then I was allowed back on...

Hmmm... don't know why that it. I will look in to it though as thats no good.

If anyone get's this error again take a screen shot and PM it to me. I will see what I can find out. I have an error log for the site - hopefully there's some useful information stored there.

EDIT - dam, error log is clear (not that that's a bad thing, makes me happy to see no errors). Time to get searching then.

I don't seem to be able to click on any of the tool boxes when making a post. Such as colours, bold text and so on. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

I think we just have a site with taste.  It's only trying to get rid of people like Belly and MainEventMikey, so I don't see what the issue is...

Are you using Internet Explorer?  I have this problem with IE but if I switch to Firefox then it works fine

As for the codes I have found most of the old colors I used way back still work so I am ok for now.

This may have been wrought up already, not certain. 

I surf using my laptop, and also my phone (Samsung Note).  Whenever I switch from one to the other all the unread icons are back.  I'm loath to click the 'all read' icon, incase there is a new post...

Is there a way to link read posts to users rather than whatever the site currently uses?  Not a massive deal tho if you can't.

Yeah it's something that I'm looking into. It's because the unread posts are set by cookies to reduce load on the server/database.

I find that as long as  press the "logout" button on your laptop, then once you log on your phone, it wont show all the old "NEW Topic" bits and instead will only show up if there is actually a new posts

I haven't been able to find out what caused this. Anyone get's it again let me know and send me a copy of the error message along with the date and time.

It's frustrating me. Hopefully it never happens again to anyone though.

When posting, the board will occasionally say "[img]was found without a matching[/img]" or whatever, but won't tell you where it is. Posting something like a 4CW show becomes nearly impossible because you have to scan the whole thing for both tags, and manually look at where the broken one is. If you could preview, you'd be able to see where the code is broken, it would be much easier. Is there any way of turning the safety off?

I actually just had that same problem...

I had added an extra [/ color] to the end of a line but hadn't added the opening color brackets and I had to scan the whole document to try and find it because couldn't even go into preview mode, got kind of annoying as typically it was right at the bottom.

I've never had this issue.  But then I know what I'm doing...

Not yet. I half have it working, but can't get a little bug worked out.

Plus you know, polls are miss leading as some twat will always press 1 out of 10 if they don't agree with someone putting 10 out of 10. And no polls means that people have to post to vote, so it's encouraging posting.

Not as default as the guys that create the forums don't feel they're necessary as they can create false overviews and don't allow users to express opinions - you do that by posting (I know you can do both, but some people don't).

It is something that I've been looking into though. Just taking my time as it's not overly important.
