A bunch of juvenile delinquent kids in the future serve as a cleanup crew for a post-apocalyptic Earth... and in true CW fashion, they're all attractive

Almost God like? Maybe...

Really liked the set up and the idea behind this one.

Man has lived underground for 100 years, anything could be going on above us.  We finally progress back to being ready to take back the surface, and this is the story of what happens.  I like that.  It's open, there is danger and suspense.

Was at the point of thinking I'd give it a go, and then she shouted "we're back" and all the kids ran out without a care in the world and suddenly it looks really, really shit...  For a start, realistically, the troops would go first to ensure safety, and the clean up would happen once safety zones had been established.  Would they really send kits?

Shame, as I think the idea had merit, but it suddenly got Americaned so I'll pass.

Also, why "we're back"? If they've been in there for 100 years, they'd have never been on the surface. It wouldn't be like going back to Miami beach for a second Spring break, it would be as weird as it was for the generations before them to go underground. At least one of them would want to stay inside. And yeah, there's no way they would let the kids out first. Where are all the adults anyway?

Im sure that after 100 years of living underground we would have changed physically as well. No fair hair, we'd be shorter etc.

This is looking as bad as revolution...

100 years isn't long enough to change us that much. Depending on the timeline it could have pretty huge affects on clothing though. They all look a little too Hollister.

Main thing bothering me about this series is the lack of sunlight they'd have gotten. They'd have gotten no Vitamin D and their immune system wouldn't be as good as the sun helps with white blood cells. Also helps with some skin diseases, which we tend not to notice as we get sun light. Yes, I'm that sad that it actually bothers me and puts me off wanting to see it. Gotta get some realism in there 😋

I still think a hundred years underground would stump your growth by a couple of inches.  The human race has grown that as an average in the last 100 years, so a reverse is plausable.  Also, our diet would be completely different as a lot of the vitamins we need are derived from foods that need sunlight.

Hating this series now and wont go near it!

I think Belly deserves a strike can popped for this one!

At Comic Con, the executive Producers have said that The 100 T show will be going for a more Sci-Fi feel rather than a a Soapy Teen Romance... Saying it isn't Dawson Creek as Pacey would be eaten alive.  They even likened it in Sci-Fi terms to Battlestar Gallatica, Lost and Lord Of The Flies...

"We're trying to do really something hard sci-fi at The CW, which is amazing because they're totally supportive," added executive producer Matt Miller. "They're encouraging us to be as dark as we want to be, which, trust me, is going to be the case." And that's evident in a particularly shocking moment towards the end of the pilot. Let's just say no one is safe and the story wants to make it as hard as it can on these kids.

Rothernberg and Miller promise that as the kids on the ground face threats and try to survive mutant beasts, the pretty teen sheen won't be as prevalent as other CW shows, either. But let's face the facts, it will still be sexy. Just a dirty kinda sexy. "I was always talk about Romancing the Stone," Rothenberg says. "Remember Kathleen Turner in that movie? The worse she got down there, the better she looked. We're going to be noticing similar things. It is The CW."
